Welcome Back, Foster Families! A Message from Principal James

Greetings Foster Bear Cub Families,

I am so excited and grateful to welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year at Foster Elementary! Whether you're returning to our Bear Cub family or joining us for the very first time, know that we are honored to partner with you on one of the most important journeys there is — the education of your child.

This summer, our staff has been hard at work preparing classrooms, strengthening our instructional systems, and planning meaningful learning experiences, because our students deserve nothing less than excellence. Every decision we make is guided by one unwavering commitment: Excellence in Every Cub. Every Educator. Every Moment.

Meet the Teacher — Wednesday, August 6, 2026, 4:30–6:00 p.m.

Meet the Teacher is designed to be a warm, focused welcome: a chance to meet your child's teacher, drop off school supplies, and get key beginning-of-year information. To keep the evening running smoothly for every family, we'll save classroom tours for another time. Our teachers will be fully available to welcome you, answer questions, and help your family prepare for a great first day.

As we begin this new school year, I ask each member of our Foster community to embrace our campus motto: Challenge Accepted… Excellence Expected! Those are not just words on a banner — they represent the mindset we bring to every classroom, every lesson, and every opportunity to grow. We believe our students are capable of extraordinary things, and we are committed to helping them achieve their very best.
