Dress Code

Uniform and Dress Code 2026–2027

To support a safe, positive, and focused learning environment, Foster Elementary follows a consistent dress code for all students in grades Pre-K through 5. We ask parents to partner with us by making sure your child arrives in dress code each day. Please label all clothing and supplies with your child's name in case they are lost or misplaced.

Uniform Requirements (All Grades, Pre-K–5)

•     Tops: polo shirts in red, white, or black

•     Bottoms: khaki or black pants

•     Shoes: closed-toe shoes are required; open-toe shoes are not allowed

•     Backpacks: only backpacks without wheels are allowed

Not Allowed

•     Purses or backpack-style purses

•     Tights, colorful pants, or sweatpants

Jeans on Designated Days

•     Wednesdays: college shirt day

•     Fridays: spirit shirt day

Jeans worn outside of these designated days are not permitted. The school will communicate when jeans may be worn outside of these permitted days.
